In Case You Missed It!

Dot Fertility & Period Tracker identifies a user's personalized daily risk or chance of pregnancy simply by tracking periods

The Dot app is based on Dynamic Optimal Timing™ - a new family planning method developed by Cycle Technologies in collaboration with global health experts. This patent-pending technology identifies a user's personalized daily risk or chance of pregnancy simply by tracking her period start dates. Dot gives women critical and actionable information that empowers them to effectively plan - or prevent - pregnancy completely on their smartphone devices.

First Ever Real-Time Efficacy Study on Fertility App Launched

Dot Fertility & Period Tracker Efficacy Study Launch

Researchers at Georgetown University Medical Center’s Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH) announced this month the launch of a year-long study to measure the efficacy of Dot Fertility & Period Tracker, for avoiding unintended pregnancy. This study will allow women to compare the efficacy of the app to other contraceptive methods and is the first time that a fertility app is being tested in a full-scale efficacy trial.

"It's a historical opportunity to advance the science of birth control and family planning. No fertility app has undergone such rigorous testing. Users who join our effort can help make free, effective fertility tools accessible to women throughout the world" says, CT's founder Leslie Heyer.

1200 Dot users will be recruited into the study and followed for one year. Visit DotStudy.org to learn more about this study.
