CT Newsletter: World Contraception Day Issue
Happy World Contraception Day (September 26),
It’s a great day to focus on the importance of contraception and why we need to keep expanding access and options.
Fertility apps have been BIG news lately. If you're following this space, you may have run across several news stories - both positive and negative. The medical community is appropriately demanding evidence that they work. And skeptics question why women would use a “contraceptive app” when there are “so many other contraceptive methods available.”
If you think that fertility apps should adhere to the same contraceptive efficacy standards as other methods, like the pill, IUD, condoms, etc., then read on. If you think that women should be offered the full range of contraceptives (no exceptions), then read on. If you think we need to start listening to women to address their contraceptive needs...well, you get it.
In this issue, we're featuring our thoughts on why contraception should be simple at least from the user’s perspective, insights from the researchers conducting the Dot Efficacy Study, and other topics you won't want to miss.
We hope you enjoy it!

Our approach is straightforward and uncomplicated, but make no mistake – simplicity should not be confused with “dumbing down”. If anything, we’re streamlining fertility awareness-based methods so that they fit into our busy lives. We’re making them more useful, by doing the complex work behind the scenes. Read more here.
